Impact on arthur pearcy's thinking
Pollock had a major impact on Arthur's thinking. Pollock completely changed the way Arthur thought. Art was abstract before Pollock but it was hard for Arthur to appropriate it. The only other artist that was abstract and Arthur could really like was Dali. Pollock completely changed the views on Arthur's thinking of art. This artwork was pure abstracting and Arthur could actually like it. Before Pollock the thought of pure abstraction was crazy. Arthur didn't like it and wouldn't accept it. But Pollock changed Arthur's view of art. He could finally accept pure abstraction. It finally became so much more than just dripping paint. It was so complex and interesting. Pollock changed Arthur's thinking forever. Pollock finally got him to enjoy the pure abstraction.
